FastTrac Cuts Waiting Time For Rides in Disneyland

Submitted by on February 11, 2010 – 2:10 pmNo Comment

Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth but it certainly isn’t the best place for impatient parents and kids wanting to ride one of its many fun offerings. The queues to Space Mountain alone makes me want to weep, but with an iPhone app called FastTrac, you no longer need to wait needlessly for ages until it’s your turn at the ride.

Unveiled at Mac World 2010, FastTrac is THE iPhone app for every Disney enthusiast. Nobody wants to be caught waiting for ages under the sweltering midday sun so all you need is to pay $4.99 for this app, fire it up, select the rides you want to try for the day, and watch as FastTrac gives you a map to the rides you can try while displaying waiting times. FastTrac does this by gathering and analyzing data obtained from historical facts, and tips from real-life Diisney experts who have worked as park attendants some time in their lives. The app also cleverly calculates waiting times based on holidays such as Christmas Day and Valentine’s Day.

Is there a catch to this? Users are recommended to obtain a FastPass to ensure seamless integration with the iPhone app. For $4.99 this app sure does a lot to shave time off your next sojourn to Disneyland!
