Netflix iPhone App in the Making?

Netflix streaming app for the iPhone soon?
Popular movie streaming entity on the Internet, Netflix.com may be looking to expand its reaches to the mobile world and release its very own iPhone app in the near future! It is said that Netflix is in the mood to develop application for the iPhone, and perhaps other smartphones in the Android and Blackberry platform later on. This yet to be named app is said to allow viewers to watch their favorite movies via their Netflix accounts from their mobile devices without paying extra!

The move came about after gathering answers acquired from a recent survey, whereby Netflix quizzed its legion of users on whether they would like to watch streaming movies on their iPhone screens. This can be done via a Wifi connection.

The ultimate Netflix experience
Netflix made it clear that they wanted to offer the ultimate Netflix experience to their users by designing the best iPhone app for this purpose. This means that viewers can watch movies, videos and TV programs at their own convenience, minus advertisements and pesky trailers. In less than 30 seconds the movies or TV shows will be streamed into their iPhones. After that they are free to pause, rewind or replay the movie as they wish, again using Wifi connections.

My take on the upcoming Netflix iPhone app
I think it’s great that Netflix is following the iPhone app trend but they may want to expand their business model and try offering their services to people outside of the US. It’s all very well watching movies and tv shows on the iPhone but why hog this to yourself instead of sharing with others?
