Top 5 Most Useful iPhone Apps for Dog Lovers
I’m such a loyal fan of the App Store that I regularly boast about the staggering amount of apps listed in there (close to 200,000!). A friend heard me over talking about this on Twitter and she challenged me to find 5 of the best iPhone apps for dog owners. Well, here it is – the top 5 most useful iPhone apps for the dog lover in you! =)
1. Cesar Says – FREE
Cesar Millan is a self-proclaimed “dog whisperer” – You either hate him or love him. My feelings are neutral but I must admit that his followers are many, enough for him to create a rather cool iPhone app called Cesar Says. You get loads of tips and sound bites from the prolific trainer to help you train your pooch. I honestly feel better training MY dog using MY voice but that’s just me. This app is free so do download it and try it out!
2. Dog First Aid – $1.99
I’m not a dog owner and even I know that one shouldn’t offer chocolates to dog. However, if you find that your mutt has accidentally ingested some of the forbidden ambrosia and is suffering from chocolate poisoning, this app should come in handy. You’ll find a variety of conditions commonly suffered by dogs and quick first aid you can administer before you get your faithful companion to the vet.
3. Dog-A-Log – $0.99
This is a nice little app to bring along especially if you want to impress someone with your vast knowledge on doggies. The Dog-A-Log app gives you access to information pertaining to different dog breeds; quite useful as an ice breaker too!
4. Dog Tricks – Best of 101 Dog Tricks – $2.99
This is a no-brainer. It makes perfect sense to download a series of the best dog tricks you can teach your dogs right to your iPhone.
5. Fail Dogs – $0.99
There’s nothing quite like a Fail Dogs app to get your LOL-ing about the various funny positions our furry friends can get into. A great app, also makes an excellent ice breaker for when you want to be the life of the party!
